Made for use in determining phase on distribution networks, this pole hooks directly onto a phasing point within an electrical installation and defines phase status.
The pole is 0.90m in length, but is designed to be attached to insulated poles in order to expand the reach of the comparator. It comes with either a K type connector (universal) or C type connector (hexagonal) for attachment to compatible CATU poles. Please select which connect you prefer when ordering this instrument.
This instrument is made for use on high voltage networks (50 and 60Hz) between a range of 12 to 36kV. We also stock other variations of this pole which are suitable for use on systems as low as 6kV.
To show phase status this instrument uses LED indicators which show orange LEDs for memorised phase, green for phasing indication and red for non-phasing indication.
This product is fully IEC-61481 compliant.
Supplied as standard with the comparator and a carrying case. Insulated poles are sold separately.
There are four variations of this product available. The following table outlines the difference between each.
Code | Voltage Range | Battery Type | Aerial Total Length (m) | Weight (g) |
CL-7-06/18-(*) | 6 to 18kV | 9V | 0.55m | 850g |
CL-7-10/30-(*) | 10 to 30kV | 9V | 0.90m | 900g |
CL-7-10/30-1-(*) | 10 to 30kV | 9V | 1.15m | 950g |
