Available as either the standard tester or a variation with 2 probe extenders (select from dropdown box above) this device is used for accurately detecting voltage different between two phase points.
It’s designed purely for use on HV systems and can be used to calculate voltage difference across a wide range from 2 to 36kV. The two poles are directly connected via a high insulation lead and use LED indicators to show the differences between phases.
The poles are made from high quality dielectric insulating material, ensuring a user can safely connect the pole to an HV system and not be under risk of electrical shock. They can also calculate residual voltage magnitude to ensure that live lines or circuits nearby don’t affect the overall measurement.
Each pole measure 1.25m when fully assembled and 0.62m when dismantled for storage purposes. The cable between the two poles is 1.5m for the non-extendable version and 3m for the extendable version of this device.
