PLEASE NOTE: all insulating gloves are made to order and therefore lead times may vary. This is due to testing dates occurring at the point of manufacture, so we are unable to hold stock as dates will lapse. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
These gloves are available in different sizes, please choose an option from the drop-down box above.
CG-4 gloves are the highest specification latex electrical protection gloves available from CATU.
Capable of resisting voltage up to a high threshold of 36000V, these 3.15mm-thick gloves are an ideal option for anyone working with high voltage systems.
The gloves are also RC rated which means they are resistant to acid, oil and ozone, as well as the effects of very low temperatures.
We also stock a range of alternative gloves – be sure to click around on the other options to find which is best for your needs.
CG-4 I.E.C Insulating Gloves (36000V) Key Features
- Protects against voltage up to 36000V
- Conforms to IEC 60903 and EN 60903 standards

Important Test Date Information
The following information is applicable to all classes of insulating gloves.
After the original manufacture and test date there is a maximum of 12 months for the gloves to be issued (defined as opening the bag). The original manufacture and test date is marked on the bag and gloves. Once issued (the bag has been opened) the gloves must be tested after a maximum of 6 months. The permissible 6 months begins on the date of first use/ issue (the day the bag is opened); this date must be marked on the gloves.
For example:
- The gloves are manufactured and tested in January 2021
- The gloves are issued to a worker (the bag is opened) in December 2021
- The gloves must be retested or discarded in June 2022
