This detector is used to alert those around to the presence of voltage from 11 to 22kV.
Available with either type C or type K end-fittings, this detector is made for direct connection to CATU's range of insulated poles (recommended pole CE-4-21-C) and includes contact electrodes for hooking on to an overhead electrical system to detect voltage presence.
The detector uses red flashing LED indicators to showcase that voltage has been found, is resistant to the effects of impact, vibration and moisture and is fully in compliance with IEC-61243-1.
