C. Scope YIRS-640 Metal Pipe Sonde – 640Hz

The C. Scope YIRS-640 Metal Pipe Sonde is a small, self-contained, low-frequency signal transmitter. It can be used with a C. Scope Cable Locator to trace the direction of metal pipes and located blockages. When used with a C. Scope MXL4 Cable Locator, the C. Scope YIRS-640 Metal Pipe Sonde can be used to find pipe blockages up to 5m below the ground (depending on the pipe material and wall thickness).

The C. Scope YIRS-640 Metal Pipe Sonde has been specifically designed for use in metal pipes and, to this end, issues a low-frequency signal output (640Hz) that is transmitted through the pipe’s metal walls to the surface.
