Everything you need for PAT testing! Includes the entry-level HPAT600/2 PAT tester, labels, software and much, much more.
The Martindale HandyPAT HPAT600/2 PAT Tester is an entry-level portable appliance tester designed for low-volume testing. It is equipped with an internal memory capable of storing up to two-hundred results; this data can be recalled as necessary. However; please note that these records cannot be exported to a PC. Test results, which consist of a PASS/ FAIL decision and a numerical value, are indicated on the high-contrast, backlit display
This instrument is capable of testing a wide variety of appliances and its PASS thresholds may be adjusted accordingly. The HPAT600/2 includes pre-programmed test sequences for class I and class II appliances, as well as power leads. When set to Manual mode, these sequences can be engaged via pressing a single dedicated function button.
Alternatively, the Martindale PAT Tester can be set to Manual mode. When in this mode, the tester will aid the user with the completion of each test by presenting him/her with a connection diagram via its high-contrast, backlit display. Furthermore, the user will be required to confirm the completion of each step by pressing ‘OK’.
Both Manual mode and Automatic mode have been optimised for ease of testing; they also allow the user to tailor the PAT Tester to his/her requirements. Similarly, the HPAT600/2 can be adapted to test 110V appliances, as well as equipment terminating in three-phase plugs, via the addition of various OPTIONAL adapter leads.
Also expanding the Potable Appliance Tester’s scope-for-use is its IT-safe 200mA earth bond test and insulation test with selectable test voltages (250V or 500V). The 250V insulation test can be used to check appliances with surge protected circuits. Furthermore, the PAT Tester’s simulated load test can be used to verify the functionality of the appliance-under-investigation as well as ascertain the integrity of its fuses.
In addition to versatility and ease-of-use, the Martindale HandyPAT HPAT600/2 PAT Tester is optimised for practicality and to this end features a compact, lightweight design. It is powered by rechargeable batteries and is supplied with a mains charger and in-car charger to ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum.
Overall it is a comprehensive, compact and convenient portable appliance tester suitable for low volumes of testing.
You will also receive an additional pack from us which includes:

You'll need this adaptor to connect your PAT tester to laptop/PC power leads and other similar equipment which has a cloverleaf-shaped connector. |
√ | √ |
This adaptor is used to connect to laptop power supplies, portable projectors and other similar equipment. |
√ | √ |
You'll find several appliances such as game consoles, laptop power supplies, audio/visual equipment and more use this type of connector - with this adaptor, you can connect them up to your PAT tester. |

A handy set of insulated screwdrivers (suitable for live working to 1000V) suitable for a wide variety of applications. |
√ | √ |
You'll need these every time an appliance passes a test - just tear one off, fill in the fields (appliance ID, your name, test date and next test due date) and stick on the appliance when done. |
√ | √ |
These circular-shaped PAT labels are great for plug tops and any other appliance. The labels also include space for ticking the month/year the next test is due. |
√ | √ |
These passed labels wrap around a wire/cable from an appliance and are recommended for use with power supplies or on appliances where you can't stick a label. They also include space for writing your appliance ID, name, test date and next test date. |
√ | √ |
You won't need these as often as your passed labels, but you'll need to apply one of these whenever an appliance fails a test. If it does fail, the item should be taken out of service for repair or replacement |
√ | √ |
Keep a database of your PAT testing information on your PC and print reports with SimplyPats Manual software. Please note that this software is manual entry; you cannot download directly from the PAT tester and you will need to type in records by hand. |
