Chauvin Arnoux

Founded by Raphael Chauvin and René Arnoux in 1893, Chauvin Arnoux has been a test equipment manufacturer for over 125 years and is one of Europe's most popular manufacturers.

Chauvin Arnoux originally focused on the development of electrical test equipment - they are, in fact, the first ever manufacturers of the precursor to a common modern digital multimeter, as well as a clamp system which would go on to become what's now commonly known as a clamp meter.

In modern times, Chauvin Arnoux has expanded their range significantly; the company now creates hundreds of different items used by professionals across the globe on a daily basis, including multimeters, current clamps, electrical safety testers, wattmeters, power quality analysers, oscilloscopes, temperature measurement equipment and much more.
