Why Do an ITC Thermography Training Course?
Operating a thermal camera is one thing but getting the best out of your infrared imager is another. ITC’s infrared training educates professionals on maximising their thermal camera’s measurement potential. Delegates will learn to capture data-dense images under a variety of conditions – essential for accurately diagnosing faults or impending issues. ITC thermography courses also cover thermography theory, instructions on how to interpret thermal information, and details on creating infrared inspection reports.
Need more convincing?
Here are four reasons you should enrol on an ITC thermography course:
1.) Thermography Training is Great for Upskilling
ITC thermography courses ensure professionals can apply the skills and knowledge they acquire directly to their work situations. Therefore, all of ITC’s infrared programs offer plenty of practical learning, including opportunities to handle thermal cameras and use them to identify and diagnose lab-simulated real-world problems. A crucial element of ITC’s thermal training, practical learning ensures students can:
- Accurately diagnose anomalies
- Understand proper camera techniques
- Avoid user errors
- Prevent false hot spot diagnosis
- Appreciate the limitations of thermal imaging for specific applications
- Analyse thermograms correctly using reporting software
- Produce maintenance reports and schedules efficiently
2.) Accredited Thermography Certification
An ITC certification isn’t a vanity; it’s a globally recognised qualification that meets international infrared certification standards. Dedicated to delivering the best thermal training, ITC staff keep abreast of the latest international standards by participating in infrared certification committees. Furthermore, the ITC curriculum is certified as compliant with major industry regulators including:
- ASNT (American Society of Non-Destructive Testing) SNT-TC-1A and CP-105
- BINDT (British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing) CMGEN appB
- ISO 18436 & 9712
- NDT standards
3.) ITC Tutors Are Tenacious About Teaching Thermography
ITC instructors are singularly focused on providing participants with the skills and knowledge needed to pass the exam and, more importantly, perform their jobs effectively. That’s why, on the rare occasion when a student is unsuccessful, ITC’s tutors will offer pointers on areas of improvement.
4.) Flexible Thermography Training
ITC understands that infrared training needs to be integrated within the constraints of your schedule and budget. As such, ITC offers an eclectic selection of on-site and online thermal training courses across a vast array of locations and dates.
Who Should Do an ITC Thermal Course?
Anyone using a thermal camera for professional applications should enrol for thermography training to ensure optimal operation of their infrared imager and precise data interpretation. Professions that may benefit from an ITC infrared course include (but are not limited to):
- Electricians
- Plumbers
- Builders/ Construction workers
