Sick of wasting time with paper notes and documentation when commissioning and installing boilers? With an Anton eVo 3 or Sprint V3 and Anton's new app, making paper notes is a thing of the past!
Sprint Mobile, made exclusively for Android, allows Anton's flue gas analysers to communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth with compatible smartphones and tablets. The app is set to launch this May and will be free to download from the Google Play Store when it becomes available.
By using the new app, users will be able to interact with data captured using their eVo 3/Sprint V3 in many different new and useful ways and have the added benefit of not having to print records off on portable printers.
One of the most useful functions of the new technology is keeping a comprehensive and secure database of all your customers on your smartphone and tablet. This way you have easy access to all customer records at any time, can create reports, email the customer and can even get timely reminders when a customers' annual service is due.
A number of other functions are also included such as gas rate, pipe size and energy conversion calculators, giving heating engineers the tools to make testing and documentation much easier than ever before.
The new technology will also become available to those who own a Anton eVo 2 analyser in the future as they will receive the option to upgrade to an eVo 3 with Bluetooth connectivity.
Anton stated the following about the new app in a press release:
"Anton has witnessed an increased demand from the market for paperless solutions and whilst large fleet users of Anton analysers have been utilising the Bluetooth technology for years by writing their own bespoke software packages, this new app will provide simple and easy access to this next level of professional and traceability of information to companies of all sizes.
"With the increasing importance of record keeping relating to these safety critical reports - for example the recording of CO and CO/CO2 ratio - now being mandatory at the commissioning of all new boiler installations, then having all your reports conveniently saved and stored under each customer on your mobile device provides you with this peace of mind."
The new app will launch later this month at the Plumbing and Heating Exhibition (PHEX).
