A defect with Fluke's 373, 374, 375 and 376 digital clamp meters manufactured between September 1, 2010 and October 1, 2012 means they're being recalled from service.
Description of the Problem
Fluke have sent out the following information in a press release about the problem:
"The printed circuit assembly may not be properly fastened to the test lead input jack. This may result in inaccurate voltage readings, including a low or no voltage reading on a circuit energised with a hazardous voltage, presenting a shock, electrocution of thermal burn hazard."
To check if your tester is eligible you'll need to check the serial number, so here's the list. If your product serial ends with R it does not have this problem. The serial number can be found on the box of your clampmeter and is also printed on both the front and back of your tester.
