Protimeter BLD7750 Hygromaster 2 Thermo-Hygrometer Description

The Protimeter BLD7750 Hygromaster 2 Thermo-Hygrometer can be used to measure air temperature, relative humidity and surface temperature.

The Protimeter BLD7750 Hygromaster 2 Thermo-Hygrometer utilises an array of highly accurate, fast responding sensors in order to perform the above measurements. As standard it is supplied with a Hygrostick which is able to register relative humidity between 30 and 100%RH, making it suitable for measuring the equilibrium relative humidity of concrete floors.

Its infrared, non-contact temperature sensor is able to read measurements between -20°C and 80°C. The Protimeter BLD7750 Hygromaster 2 Thermo-Hygrometer is also capable of performing a variety of psychometric calculations; it is, therefore, ideal for a variety of applications including air quality inspections and testing and monitoring HVAC equipment and dehumidifiers.

Measurements can be viewed via the Protimeter BLD7750 Hygromaster 2 Thermo-Hygrometer’s colour display. Its simple-to-use interface also makes it easy to navigate the thermo-hygrometer’s many measurement capabilities, as well as save results with a date and time stamp. The Protimeter BLD7750 Hygromaster 2 Thermo-Hygrometer includes a memory with the capacity to store up to 8000 date- and time-stamped results.

In addition to 8000 manually saved results, the Protimeter BLD7750 Hygromaster 2 Thermo-Hygrometer’s memory also has the capacity to store up to 6100 results that are recorded using the automatic logging function.

Protimeter Aquant Moisture Meter Description

The Protimeter Aquant Moisture Meter can be used to take non-invasive moisture readings of building materials and fibreglass found in constructions such as boats, caravans and motorhomes.

It has a non-invasive relative moisture range of 70-999 and is capable of detecting moisture to depths of up to 19mm. The Protimeter Aquant Moisture Meter uses radio frequency to measure relative moisture to this depth. This contactless method of measuring relative moisture protects the material-under-investigation from damage and/or imperfections caused by punctures. It also preserves the accuracy and reliability of the meter as it is not affected by the surface moisture present.

Further to this, the Protimeter Aquant Moisture Meter includes a reset reading for adjusting the sensitivity of the sensor.

This technology means that the Protimeter Aquant Moisture Meter can be used to ascertain whether moisture is present, and the level of moisture that is present, behind ceramic tiles and vinyl floor coverings. This measurement capability can also be utilised to preserve the good condition of GRP boat hulls by detecting damp spots.

Measurements are indicated on the moisture meter's digital LCD display with a colour-coded LED scale for indicating the material’s moisture condition. If the scale is green it indicates that the material is dry, if it is red the material is damp, and if the scale is yellow the material has some moisture present and is borderline damp.
