The Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-RE Receiver can be used to trace energised and de-energised wires as well as locate breakers and fuses behind ceilings, walls and floors.
It is designed to be used in conjunction with Beha-Amprobe’s AT-6010-TE Transmitter (sold separately). When used with this instrument, the Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-RE Receiver can trace signals emitted by the transmitter through energised and de-energised circuits up to 600V AC/ DC in Category I-III environments. The strength of the signal is indicated on the Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-RE Receiver’s bar graph which visible via its large, black and white LCD screen. The Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-RE Receiver will also issue an audible alert when wires, fuses and breakers are detected. For a quick introduction to Beha-Amprobe's AT-6010-EUR Series of Advanced Wire Tracer Tools, please see the following video.
Via the two-digit readout LCD display, the user can also see whether the detected wire is energised or de-energised, as well as view a visual representation of the Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-RE Receiver’s sensitivity. The Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-RE Receiver’s variable sensitivity allows the operator to pinpoint fuses, breakers and wires with greater precision.
Furthermore, the Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-RE Receiver includes a tip sensor for tracing wires in tight spaces such as corners and junction boxes.
The Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-RE Receiver can be used as a standalone instrument or with the Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-TE Transmitter for the following applications:
- Tracing energised and de-energised wires
- Identify breakers and fuses
- Finding breaks and opens
- Finding shorts
- Tracing wires in metal conduits
- Tracing non-metallic pipes and conduits
- Tracing shielded wires
- Tracing underground wires
- Tracing low voltage wires and data cables
- Sorting bundled wires
- Mapping circuits with test leads
- Tracing breakers on systems with light dimmers
In addition to this, the Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-RE Receiver and Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-TE Transmitter can be used with the Beha-Amprobe CT-400-EUR Signal Clamp (NOT included) to trace cables where there is no access to bare conductors.
The Beha-Amprobe AT-6010-RE Receiver is a simple-to-use and versatile tool suitable for tracing and locating wires, breakers and fuses.
