It is suitable for testing generators, transformers and switchgear and is also capable of measuring partial discharge and conducting dissipation factor tests and Full Monitored Withstand Tests when used in conjunction with BAUR’s PD-TaD 62 Diagnostics System. Similarly, when used with a VSE box, the BAUR Frida TD VLF Cable Diagnostics Test Set can detect leakage current.

To do this the Full MWT combines cable testing and dissipation factor. The BAUR Frida TD VLF Cable Diagnostics Test Set is capable of taking highly accurate dissipation factor measurements (precision: 1x 10-4).
Additionally, the BAUR Frida TD VLF Cable Diagnostics Test Set’s MWT’s condition-based test duration can be used to ensure the cable is only exposed to the increased test voltage for the required duration.
Furthermore, when used with BAUR PD-TaD 62 PD Portable Diagnostics System, the BAUR Frida TD VLF Cable Diagnostics Test Set can measure dielectric losses and test the cable route for partial discharges.
The BAUR Frida TD VLF Cable Diagnostics Test Set supports automated and individually programmed diagnostics sequences including evaluation. The tester is quick and easy to set up, as well as compact and lightweight.
