Imaging
The Autel Robotics EVO II Dual Thermal Drone offers both visible-light and thermal imaging. Metadata is embedded in thermal and RGB (visible-light) images, making the Autel Robotics EVO II Dual Thermal Drone particularly well suited to public safety applications. Moreover, interchangeable payloads, as well as an open SDK (Software Development Kit), means it can be adapted and customised to suit a range of applications.
Thermal Imaging
Equipped with a FLIR Boson thermal camera, the Autel Robotics EVO II Dual Thermal Drone offers an IR resolution of 320x256px or 640x512px with a frame rate of 9Hz. Pilots can capture high-quality, detailed thermal pictures from up to 146m away from the subject, which is 4x further than similar aircraft on the market. Moreover, ten thermal palettes mean you can adapt the camera to suit a variety of environments and conditions.
Picture-in-Picture mode integrates the thermal image into the RGB (visible-light) image. This allows you to view visible light and thermal footage side by side simultaneously, which is particularly useful when identifying and tracking subjects.
Visual Imaging
The Autel Robotics EVO II Dual Thermal Drone also includes a 48MP sensor capable of capturing footage in resolutions up to 7680x4320px. Support for 8K video recording delivers greater image clarity and depth. High resolution also allows pilots to zoom into (4x) scenes or crop images to 4K without compromising quality, whilst 4K HDR ensures detail is retained in highlights and shadows.
Streaming & Sharing
LiveDeck (sold separately) facilitates the sharing of real-time footage to public and private platforms, allowing you to stream footage to command posts, stakeholders, and online presentations.
Tracking
The Autel Robotics EVO II Dual Thermal Drone delivers 360° obstacle avoidance and dynamic tracking. Nineteen groups of sensors, including twelve visual sensors, the main camera, ultrasound, and IMUs build 3D maps and plan flight paths in real-time. The Autel Robotics EVO II Dual Thermal Drone can identify up to sixty-four objects simultaneously and will model the location and speed of targets to predict their trajectory accurately.
