Imaging
Equipped with thermal and visible-light imaging capabilities, the Autel Robotics EVO II 640T Dual Thermal Drone is an ideal public safety tool as it embeds metadata into both RGB and thermal pictures. Support for interchangeable payloads and an open SDK (Software Development Kit) mean the Autel Robotics EVO II 640T Dual Thermal Drone can be adapted for a variety of applications.
Thermal Imaging
The Autel Robotics EVO II 640T Dual Thermal Drone includes a thermal sensor with an IR resolution of 640x512px and a frame rate of 30Hz. It can capture detailed thermal images up to 100m from the target. The Autel Robotics EVO II 640T Dual Thermal Drone includes an array of thermal imaging tools and functions. These include:
- Ten Thermal Colour Palettes: White Hot, Black Hot, Rainbow, Rainbow HC, Ironbow, Lava, Arctic, Glowbow, Graded Fire, and Hottest
- Picture-in-Picture mode: incorporates the thermal image into the RBG image, allowing you to view thermal and visible-light footage simultaneously; this is particularly useful when tracking subjects
- Central Temperature Measurement: real-time display of the temperature in the centre of the screen
- Spot Temperature Measurement: tap the screen to view the real-time temperature of the object
- Regional Temperature Measurement: view the average, maximum and minimum temperature in the selected area
- Temperature Alarm: alerts the user when a temperature in the scene reaches a pre-programmed threshold
- Isotherm: detects any objects within the set temperature range
- Image Enhancement: enables real-time adjustment of brightness, contrast, and details; highlights details that are within the temperature target
Visual Imaging
Capture 8K videos and images/footage with resolutions up to 7680x4320px thanks to the 48MP sensor. 8K videos and high-resolution pictures provide greater image clarity and depth, allowing pilots to zoom into scenes (x4 zoom) or crop images to 4K without compromising the quality. 4K HDR ensures that details are retained in highlights and shadows.
Streaming & Sharing
Footage can be shared to public and private platforms using the LiveDeck feature, allowing you to stream footage to command posts, stakeholders, and online presentations. Further to this, the Autel IR PC Tool, a free temperature measurement analysis tool, allows you to import images for editing and analysis to create reports for distribution to relevant persons.
Tracking
The Autel Robotics EVO II 640T Dual Thermal Drone offers 360° obstacle avoidance and dynamic tracking.
360° Obstacle Avoidance
Nineteen groups of sensors, including twelve visual sensors, the main camera, ultrasound, and IMUs build 3D maps and plan flight paths in real-time. Please see the following video for more information.

Able to detect up to sixty-four objects at the same time, the Autel Robotics EVO II 640T Dual Thermal Drone will model the location and speed of targets to predict their trajectory accurately.
