ATEX Approved Grounding Reel - 25M PVC Coated Steel Cable (50A)

Suitable for use in environments with a risk of combustion/explosion, this device is used to securely create a grounding point, thus diverting static electricity that is building up inside a system and ensuring it returns safely to earth.

The cable reel includes a 25M PVC coated steel cable which is rigid enough to be secured in place and clamped to a grounding point. A 50A clamp is connected to the cable for this purpose and it is possible to either use the cable reel in a fixed position by mounting it to a floor, wall or ceiling or can be used in single applications to create a grounding point.

It's an ideal product for use by tankers, oil refineries, aviation, refuelling stations and many other areas.

The reel also contains a few extra functions such as a quick retraction function, adjustable cable stop and more.
