The Applent AT515 is an ultra-high precision resistance meter that's ideal for use in measuring a wide variety of high, medium and low value resistors and for applications including measuring switch contact resistance, connector contract resistance and transformer/inductor/motor/deflection coil winding resistance.
Featuring measurement range from as low as 0.1μΩ up to 1.2GΩ and maximum display of 1,200,000, the AT515 is configurable for use in practically any application you need it. The measurement speed can also be adjusted, with five different levels available. These are as follows:
The AT515 has a built-in comparator; with this, the AT515 can output comparison/decision results for sorting components into a maximum of ten bins. A handler interface is also included; using this, the AT515 can be combined with a component handler and a system controller to fully automate component testing, sorting and quality control data processing.
This high precision DC meter has a 3.5", true colour LCD display screen with English and Chinese language options and includes multiple additional functions including a keypad lock, data hold and temperature compensation.

Accuracy is calculated from the reading error (±%rdg) determined by the measurement value and range, and the digit error (±dgt).
Calculation Example:
Measurement Value: 1Ω, Measurement Range: 3Ω
Specified accuracy (from table below): ±0.5% rdg, ±5dgt
(A) Reading error (±%rdg): 1 [Ω] x 0.5% = ±0.005[Ω]
(B) Digit error (±dgt): ±5dgt = ±0.0005[Ω] (at 0.0001Ω resolution)
(C) Total error (A + B): ±0.0055[Ω]
Applying total error (C) to the measurement value of 1Ω gives an error limit of 0.9945 to 1.0055Ω.
