This product is identical to the basic ACD-14 PLUS in every way apart from the fact that this model includes true-RMS technology to enhance the overall accuracy of test results.
The ACD-14 PRO includes two displays on the front of the tester - this means that it can be used to simultaneously carry out measurements of current while also carrying out voltage measurements at the same time. It can be used to carry out measurements of AC current to 600A, microamp testing for testing flame sensors, capacitance up to 3000μF, temperature measurements using a type-K thermocouple probe from - 4 to 999°F, AC and DC voltage to 600V and resistance to a threshold of 40MΩ. It can also carry out frequency, diode and continuity measurements (the latter of which includes built-in buzzer).
The jaws of the ACD-14 PRO are designed to be as thin as possible (approx 5mm smaller than others) to enable the device to be more easily navigated into difficult testing scenarios. The spacing inside the jaws accommodates conductors up to 28mm (1.1") in diameter.
This product is CAT III 600V safety rated.
