Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester

The Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester can be used to automatically detect and measure AC and DC voltages as well as determine voltage polarity. It can also be used to perform continuity checks.

Its LED panel indicates the voltage range, two pole phase rotation, polarity (using the results gained from single pole tests) as well as the results of continuity tests. The LCD display indicates the voltage reading.

The Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester has a voltage measurement range of 12 to 690V AC/DC and will issue an audible alarm to indicate when a voltage of 50V AC and above, or 120V DC and above, has been detected. Voltages can be detected using the main-probe thereby allowing the user to perform single-phase voltage detection.

This instrument also features a two-button switchable load function and, as a result, is able to test 10mA or 30mA RCDs in order to determine whether they have been wired correctly. These RCD trip tests can be implemented by pressing both of the voltage tester’s operational buttons. Furthermore, by pressing both of these buttons the user places the 2100-Beta in low impedance mode which helps to improve its accuracy as it prevents ghost voltages from affecting voltage readings and detection.

Conversely, when neither of the buttons is pressed the Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester is in high impedance mode which works to protect the user against accidentally tripping RCDs and ELCBs.

The Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester includes a number of other safety features such as 1.5m, durable test leads, with wear indication. These test leads have two layers of insulation in two contrasting colours; this not only improves the test leads' resilience and longevity but also provides the user with a clear indication that the test lead is becoming unsafe and needs replacing when the second layer of insulation becomes visible.

Further to this, the Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester is rugged and robust. It is constructed from reinforced components and is resistant to dust ingress and water splashes (IP64). The Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester is built according to the standard EN 61243-3:2010; is GS approved; includes GS38 protective probe caps and has a safety rating of CAT III 690V/ CAT IV 600V.

In addition to being reliable, accurate and safe, the Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester is also conveniently designed making it easy-to-use even within challenging environments. It includes a built-in torch allowing the user to operate this tester and perform measurements in dark environments.

Moreover, this product’s Auto-Power-Off and Auto-Power-On functions also help to ensure that this instrument is easy to operate and preserves its battery life.

Lastly, the Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester is supplied with 4mm test probe extensions with GS38 protective probe caps (as mentioned above). Both the probe extensions and caps can be stored in the attachable test probe protector cover, which can also be used to open UK safety outlets.

All of these features make the Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester ideal for detecting continuity and measuring voltage in a variety of commercial and industrial environments.
