The Aim-TTi I-Prober 520 Positional Current/Field Probe is a high-accuracy, general-purpose H-field probe that can be converted into a ‘closed magnetic circuit’ current probe. It is compatible with all oscilloscopes and is suitable for measuring currents in PCB tracks, as well as captive wires into components, legs of integrated circuits, and PCB ground planes. The Aim-TTi I-Prober 520 Positional Current/Field Probe is appropriate for use on high-voltage conductors and in high-temperature areas as well as confined and difficult-to-access spaces.
Currents from DC up to 5MHz can be observed and measured by placing the insulated tip on the conductor. Its low insertion impedance and stray capacitance cause minimal disturbance to the circuit conditions. Moreover, there is no need to break or surround the conductor.
The Aim-TTi I-Prober 520 Positional Current/Field Probe features a wide dynamic range of 10mA to 20A peak-to-peak. It has a safety rating of 300V CAT II (600V CAT I).
