The Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply is a triple-channel PSU with two main outputs and one variable voltage auxiliary output. Each of the main channels has a maximum power output of 130W, a voltage range of 0 to 30V, and a current range of 0 to 2A.
Triple Output
All of the Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply’s outputs are short-circuit-proof and protected against external voltages and reverse currents. The Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply’s main outputs are isolated and can be operated independently of one another.
In addition to the two main outputs, the Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply also includes an auxiliary channel; it is fully variable and has a voltage range of 1.5V to 5.0V and a fixed current limit of 2A. The auxiliary output’s set voltage can be measured at the push of a button using the Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply’s digital meters.
Unlike the two main outputs which use linear regulation, the Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply’s third auxiliary output uses switch-mode post-regulation.
Furthermore, the two main outputs can be wired in series or parallel to provide voltage, current, and power via a single channel. When wired in series or parallel the Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply can provide up to 60V or up to 4A.
DC Output On/Off Switch
Enabling the user to operate each of the isolated main outputs independently is their dedicated DC output on/off switches. The Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply’s DC output on/off switches allows the user to see the preset voltage and current levels for each channel before connecting a load.
Linear Regulation
As mentioned above, the Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply’s main channels utilise true linear regulation ensuring that they can provide the best possible performance. The Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply has excellent line and load regulation, good transient response, and very low output noise.
Remote Sensing
Furthermore, each of the main channels incorporates remote sense terminals which are essential for precise regulation of the load and true metering of the load. The remote sense terminals can be switched off and on as required; each channel includes a switch for this purpose.
Simple to Use
Moreover, each output has its analogue controls for setting voltage and current levels quickly, easily, and precisely. The Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply’s outputs include coarse and fine voltage controls and a logarithmic current control for setting low currents accurately.
Constant Current and Constant Voltage Modes
Each of the Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply’s channels can be set to operate in either Constant Current or Constant Voltage mode with automatic crossover. Each channel features a mode indicator that illuminates when the output is in Constant Current mode.
Four-Digit Meters
Data is indicated on the Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply’s large, backlit display with four-digit, fixed-resolution voltage, and current meters. Each output has its display and dedicated meters. The voltage and current meters’ fixed resolutions prevent readings from being misinterpreted. The Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply’s voltage meters have a fixed resolution of 10mV and the current meters have a fixed resolution of 1mA.
Safety Binding-Post Terminals
To ensure compliance with the safety regulations of most laboratories, the Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply features output terminals capable of accepting 4mm safety plugs with rigid insulating sleeves. These output terminals can also accept fork connectors and bare wires ensuring maximum connection flexibility.
Silent Cooling
Finally, the Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply utilises convection cooling, thereby eliminating fan noise.
The Aim-TTi EL302RT Digital Bench Power Supply is a triple-output PSU suitable for benchtop applications in laboratories.
