Important Note:

There are six versions of this Crowcon Gas-Pro detector available. All models detect the same gases (carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide, oxygen and methane).

Using the drop-down box above, you will need to select between whether you want a pumped or non-pumped version of the detector, whether it includes a flow plate or not and whether the unit ships with a power charging lead or a power charging cradle.

About the Crowcon GasPro Intrinsically Safe Gas Detector

Safety in confined spaces is essential - with Crowcon's GasPro confined space gas detector, you'll have a fast responding, first-response gas detector that instantly alerts you when hazardous levels of gases are detected.

Crowcon's Gas-Pro is a wearable gas detector that's made for attachment to your clothing - it should be worn at all times when working in hazardous environments and gives up to 14 hours of continuous operation using built-in rechargeable batteries.

This version of the Crowcon Gas-Pro can detect four different gases - it is configured, as standard, for the detection of carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), oxygen (O2) and methane (CH4).

Protect Yourself with Triple Alarms

The Crowcon Gas-Pro is made to make sure you know about hazardous gas levels - if you're working in a confined space, this fast response could be the difference between safe working and potentially deadly accidents.

Crowcon Gas-Pro units come as standard with three different alarm indictors. If a spike in gas content is detected, the Gas-Pro will:

• Sound An Audible Tone Alarm - 95dB loudness with increase in tone frequency as gas levels rise
• Flash Visual LED Alerts - dual red and blue LEDs flash from all angles
• Begin to Vibrate - you'll be able to feel the Gas-Pro as it detects different gases

Optional Flow Plate

Many versions of the GasPro can include a flow plate - when this is attached to the gas detector, it allows the GasPro to be used for various applications such as manual gas/test calibration, or for manual sampling.

If used with the pumped versions (which include an internal pump) the flow plate makes pre-entry testing easier and allows the GasPro to be worn either in pumped or diffusion modes.

Comfortable, Hands-Free Operation

If you're in a confined space, you're likely to be working with your hands, performing a wide variety of tasks.

Crowcon's GasPro is a completely hands-free gas detector; this unit clips directly onto your clothing and is ideal for completely hands-free, constantly reliable gas monitoring.

The GasPro's backlit LCD screen is positioned at the top of the detector; this ensures you can easily read current findings simply by glancing down at the detector, regardless of what lighting conditions you find yourself working in. The backlight can also be adjusted between red and green display modes.

You can also rely on the GasPro for a long period of time - the rechargeable lithium ion batteries built into the detector give on average 14 hours of operation (non-pumped versions) or 13 hours (pumped versions).

Log Your Findings with Built-in Datalogging Capabilities

The GasPro does more than just monitor and alert you to gas levels - it can also constantly log information in its built-in memory storage!

Up to 125 hours of data can be stored directly on the GasPro at 10 second intervals, giving approximately 45,000 logs of data, ready for download to PC using USB connection.

The GasPro also logs events and can store information on activated alarms, overrange detection, calibration, bump testing, when the unit was switched on/off and the TWA system (which evaluates toxicity over time). Up to 1000 events can be stored directly in the detector's memory.

Intrinsically Safe Design

Crowcon GasPro units are made for use in even the most tough environments, complete with ATEX and other approvals for use in potentially hazardous zones where there's a risk of igniting the atmosphere.

These gas detectors have the following classifications:

• IECEx: Ex d ia IIC T4 Gb Tamb -20oC to +55oC
• ATEX: II 2 G Ex d ia IIC T4 Gb Tamb -20oC to +55oC
• UL: Gas detector use in hazardous locations Class 1, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, and D only as to intrinsic safety INMETRO

The detectors are also made tough with IP65 and IP67 classification for superior protection against water and other common forms of damage.
